Sitting on my Ebola laced greyhound. I swear everyone is coughing on this dog and it's packed. Met my first prime guy at the bus stop. He just left crst to work for prime. Says he is tired of team driving with drivers that don't want loads
Well looks like I'm gonna be here until Tuesday at least. If any you coming in Sunday wanna chat, ask questions, whatever I'll be here. I'm in room 278. Except for Brian, I don't wanna be around you if you're on a bus full of ebola people hahaha. J/K.
I was looking for a link to a story that happened here today that is supposed to be on the news. This morning housekeeping found a baby unresponsive, turning blue and bleeding from the nose in a room here at the campus. Don't know anything like if it was abandoned or what.
One last thing, if you want the best chance of not having a roommate and you get here early enough tomorrow, ask for a room in either C or D building. There's only 1 bed and you get your own heat/air unit. All the other rooms in A and B building run off a central system and can't be controlled. Your stuck with whatever temperature the entire building is set for.
Nice info there Terry C. I may have to stop by since no ebola on my busses lol.... dunno if I will get there in time though will see.
I also met a guy here as well Brian. Been fun chatting with him.

In time to get the single room that is...
Y no edit button??
Unfortunately half will probably flunk on the physical or drug test. I bet 25 will finish the class with a cdl. Then the carnage begins...LOL
Yeah 200 people showing up in one week makes me wonder.. I would like to know exaclty how many do actually finish...
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Operating While Intoxicated
Keep in mind all of the 200 coming aren't just people coming to get their CDL. That number also includes drivers with experience coming for their orientation. Current Prime students coming in for upgrade. Drivers coming in for TNT training. The reason there are so many coming in is because the campus has been closed for the holiday and they're also doing some renovations while campus is closed. So they're basically combining a couple weeks worth of classes into one week. So it's gonna be hectic for sure. But ya'all will get thru it no problem! See ya when you get here!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14ยข per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Well here's an update from the greyhound we are 2 1/2 hrs late due to a driver being threatened by a passenger at the Atlanta terminal. The driver quit on the spot so they had to get a new driver.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Don't you guys see an opportunity here?

Well similar to your situation we had two women go at it on my bus. When we pulled in they pulld the crazy lady off and security was not taking chances. Mostly weather delays for me. I'm here now and wish I had knowledge of the room situation before I checked in. I'm in room 145. Suppose to go to room C-4 in the morning. Thanks for the heads up about the UA in the morning. First thing I did after getting here is take a long hot shower to get the bus funk off. I left Friday morning just north of Los Angeles and got here about nine this morning. Took a long walk to work the knots out of my body from the ride and filled out all of the paperwork they gave us. Now just relaxing and eating my box dinner.

Hey Lil 1 ragamuffin, don't sit around waiting on them. Pester them with phone calls, they appreciate a pro-active person coming into their program. I promise you that little bit of effort on your part will pay off. It will keep your name at the top of someones list of applications to be worked on, and get it processed quicker.
All you have to do is ask, "Hey I filled out an application recently and I would like to know what the status is?" Trust me, that will help get your's moving to the top of the stack. They are probably going to tell you what else they need from you each time you get through to someone and that will keep things progressing.
