You just dig running 80 because of Iowa 80 truck stop lol.
I agree with you on that one though. I currently drive a straight truck for an expedite service and we work quite a bit in the same region. I'm in the process of evaluating companies to drive for and get my CDL . It's been helpful seeing all the resources on here and reviews to help make that decision.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Deep South
Northeast because well...... That's all i know
The Deep South. I spent time in Georgia and its nice going north up to Tennessee. Beautiful area.
I love driving in Colorado, Utah & Montana. Its so beautiful out in the mountains. However Spring, Summer and Fall are the only times I will drive out there. Winter time you can forgetaboutit
Yea regional can vary by season. I would prefer Spring, Summer in the West. Fall and Winter in Midwest, South, East.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
PNW all the way. Montana to Vancouver, 4 passes in one day. Love it.
Grew up in PNW, so I really like that area. Durning the winter, keep me in the SE out of the snow/ice thank you.

My favorite regions..... (Midwest) - Driving west on I-80 through Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska.
(Central Plains)- Driving east on Interstate 40 through the Texas Panhandle and entering Oklahoma. Oh yea.....get me a steak and beer. That is the badass part of the country. The Plains.
Interstate:
