truck driver hand-written itinerary

Is there a premade booklet or app or am i just too new and will beable to do this crap in my head soon? How do you do it?

You will be doing this in your head in a while. I keep a small notebook to write my load info on and that is about it. I put my destinations into my GPS and plan from there. It gets easy after you have driven the same lanes a few times.

Most pilots and flying j's sell a little note pad that has all that info on it after a while u won't need it anymore but I am still new and use one all the time because it is so easy to get overwhelmed.

If you have a smart phone I'd suggest you try searching your app store for "trucker hos". I just did on my Android and came up with a bunch right off the bat. I haven't tried any so cant recommend one in particular, but one that caught my attention called "Recap +" (Android only) looks like I would give it a try to see if it's any good. Looks like the reviews are mostly positive.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
