My husband (driver) and his brother (broker) are wanting to start their own trucking company. They are in great debate on what make and model truck would be the best to buy to start off with. I would love to hear all the pros and cons of different trucks. Like fuel economy, break downs, price for parts and maintenance. They are driving me crazy. Lol.

I would find a glider with a Detroit 60 12.7 liter in a paccar product and forget cali. if not practical, i would look at a paccar lease on a new one and turn it back to them every three years. if not practical and i had to buy a cali truck i would goggle rawze isx web site and learn all about the potato in the exhaust trucks and how to overcome them.
