I'm still trying to get accustomed to the way messages are "time stamped" on this site.... showing elapsed time since it was posted instead of the actual time and date is was posted. Is it feasable to have it as a personal viewing preference in our profile to change how the time stamps display?

No time to read all this, busy lately, so if said already to bad :-P ... A optional check in locator like on facebook. So if we cross each others path a stop and lunch could be possible.

It's something that could be built in but it would be an added complexity that I dont think would help. It doesn't matter what time someone posted something if you don't know what time it is right now. So even if it said 2:45 pm, your mind is going to think, "What time is it now and how long ago was that?" .....so I just cut to the chase and give you the relative time.

I'm going to make this much more prominent than it is now and incorporate it into the forum better but we have the TT Tracker which shows the locations of anyone that shares it. Anytime someone comes to the forum the system will automatically get your location in the background.

I'm definitely going to make it more prominent than it is. There's a link to it now in the drop down menu at the top of the page but I'll put a link here in the forum also. I'm also going to publish everyone's last known location on their posts if they've updated it in the past week. So right next to someone's photo you'll see their last known location.

That's cool, not impossible to overcome and understandable that there may not be much reward to the amount of effort to program it differently.

One thing that I *DO* think would be helpful is to have the name of the poster automatically included when quoting another post. This is a good example, you quoted and responded to two different posts by two different people.... there are many times where I have no idea who made the original statement being quoted and had to scroll back through the previous posts to figure out who said what. With small short posts, that is not a big deal. With the longer ones and span many pages and lots of posts, it gets to be more difficult to keep track of who said what.

That's doable. I'll add that to the list.

Ok, I've updated the template only for the forum at this point. I wanted to make sure that went smoothly before trying to add any new features or update the styling of the pages.

Let me know if anyone is having problems now that they weren't having before - buttons in the wrong place, the layout is screwed up - anything. I'm testing it on different devices now so hopefully I'll work out any bugs before they bother anyone.

Thanks!

Are you going to add the company sponsored training programs that are not listed like kllm and celadon.... I think there is a couple more not really sure...... How about a game section like chess or cards or a live chat room

Company Sponsored Training:

A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.

The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.

If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.

Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.
