When there are no business lights on the side of the highway to balance out the lights on the highway, and the white headlights of oncoming traffic is hurting your eyes, and you feel sleepy, how do you solve that problem while driving after midnight?
I adjust my sight to the white line on the right. Helps a little. only thing I can really think of.
I use the yellow safety glasses myself. They work good for me when driving or out cruising on the bike at night cuts the glare down really nice without making it seem darker. Don't have any big truck experience yet so not sure how much help I can be but a pair usually costs about 5 to 15 dollars depending on the brand and where you buy. I myself just use the 5 dollar pairs from wally world.
I'm blind anyway . . . lights? What lights?? Just kidding . . .
My mom taught me to drive when I was a pup and she taught me to "look right" when the lights are too bright . . . Just like David said up above . . . short of wearing some glasses to help, that's about the only technique I know of . . .
