Congratulations, Pepper!
Now the hard part's over. Do you get over the road training now?
No, I only have my 1st part of the test, tomorrow I do general knowledge, air brakes and I forgot the other thing. After I pass that, which I am scheduled for tomorrow, I will get to go to the range then. I am praying very hard that I pass these tests. On the practice test today in class, I did not do well at all. So tonight, I will be on this site, studying, and then in the books. I am really nervous, but hopeful. I will turn it all over to God to worry about and just get down to studying.
Thanks for the encouragement, I will be thinking of all of you when I am in front of that computer terminal tomorrow.
Hugs!

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Big Test in the Morning!
So, one of the guys that was originally in my class had some health concerns, he went to the doctor today and he was given a 3 month medical card, which is better than no medical card. He will be going on in the class ahead of me as he has experience. So, yaay for him! Another one of the men in my class is having to take all of the tests all over again, but he is okay with it.
I took 2 of the tests on Wednesday, and tomorrow, I will take the other 3. Or maybe it is the other way around. I am a bit confused right now. I thought I had my permit because they cut the bar code off the top of the drivers' license, but one of my classmates said that I do not have it until I pass these other tests. Lord, I am ready for this to be over!
If you like Mexican food, you will love it here. That is all I have to say about the food that is offered.
I am discouraged because on the practice air brakes test, I thought that I was going to do well, but I only made a 64. That is pretty bad, especially since all of the rest of my tests have been in the 80's and 90's in class. So, I am a little discouraged.
Tomorrow is another day, and then we have the weekend, for which I will be studying like crazy!
Update tomorrow!
