Not that I'd plan to drive for you folks but more to get legit info to the people on here who might read the thread. I'm also curious about the fact that with the wide open realm of the Internet, you guys are basically a ghost. There are no reviews, positive or negative and no real information about your company or partner carriers.

First off do not come here. When you talk to them on the phone they'll make it sound all professional and make it sound like its an actual school its not. Let me break it down . It's two apartments with 8-10 people in two bedroom apartments. It's a bunch of people who are criminals or have criminal records. There is no instructor I was expecting a class room with an instructor. None. this is what the do hand you the cdl manual say study it you take a test in a week. After you pass that they let you practice In a dirt parking lot in a truck its not even paved . Your in debt 6500 to them then if you quit you owe them 10,000 it states you have 3 days to pay them 6500 or they tack on an additional 3000 plus late fee and yes this is real. They pay is Bull**** they always try to find a way to keep money from you its not like a real trucking company . Believe it or not they'll hold your paycheck ransom as well as your license . Also once you make it out to the road if you get a flat or a blow out you as the driver will be paying for it not them . The guys name is Zach that's the owner of this well thought of scam. The trucks aren't theirs. They rent them then they don't even pay for the rent you drive it for that week and the rent comes out of the overall profit you made them that week . They take rent money from the profit. So basically the driver pays the rent. And they don't spend ****. The dispatch here sucks . You'll always get your settlement a day or two late . And They think it's all good and nothing's wrong . It's basically a bunch of greedy people suckering people into this. The team driving sucks here very unprofessional like I said its a bunch of criminal people with bad records some of there drivers as well as instructors even do drugs . Guys I would recommend schiender or any other company. SCREW LOBOS I promise you guys out there you'll make more even at 31 cents a mile . Than working here. Overall you'll be very displeased and stuck in a 6500 debt driving with gang member minded people. They have people quit probably every other day no joke. That's the reason they always have new students they only rent about 40 trucks total . And some of those trucks are solo drivers. So there you have it. Thats the nit and grit of this scam.

Seymour we have heard this many times before... Sit tight because I am sure as I am writing this to you, Lobos is crafting a shallow and self-serving response to your claims. They are very predictable. Look I understand the issue and that you feel like you got ripped off. Everything you stated is consistent with previous Lobos stories, no surprises.

So the question I will ask you; did you carefully read the contract(s)? If so, did you understand in no uncertain terms what your obligations are and financial risks if you do not meet them? I sort of know the answer... Lesson learned, over and over again; READ A CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING IT!!!! If you do not understand it, have a practicing attorney review it and explain what terms are binding. You signed it, so therefore as long as they met their obligations to you, they have not breeched their part of the deal. It sucks, but it's reality.

Although believe everything you wrote, I can't offer much in the way of advice that you will like. Try your best to stick it out for as long as necessary to meet your obligations to Lobos and move on. Hiring an attorney to fight them will net a protracted and expensive process that may or may not conclude with a winning result for you.

Stay focused, be safe and good luck.

I would avoid this place altogether. This place sucks and in my opinion is a scam. I got to Lobo last week and did not sign the contract. I have 2 and 1/2 months of driving experience and I could have ruined my life signing that piece of **** 51 page contract that they hardly went over. The guy next to me signed it and I asked if he read all of it. I have to be carefull what I say on here because Lobo could sue me.

On Wednesday I left the building and took a 73 year old man home who was there for CDL training. He wanted to leave. He had no way to get home and thankfully i had my car and my taxes were returned to my bank the day i left. I drove my own car there and asked if I could get my travel reimbursments back. It hasn't happened yet. I spent approx $120.00 in fuel driving out and $110.00 in hotels.

Going to Lobo was the worst experience of my life. It might be yours too. At one point when I was low on cash before my taxes were returned I was close to signing it. What options did I have? Lobo wouldn't give me gas money to get back. From what it seems they take students who live a very long ways from SLC. I'm from New Hampshire, the man I drove home lives in Kentucky. Three other people I met were from new york, mississippi, and Kentucky. I belive i met a driver from north carolina. Doesn't that seem odd? To me it seems like they like taking people who need money fast and live a long ways away so backing out would be a $200-300 bus ticket or possible $500-1000 flight. Lobo... why didn't I meet any students or drivers from Utah or Idaho? There is a million things I want to say but I'm guessing your a pro af suing people. I'll use my words carefully Lobo.

If you do happen to look over the 51 page contract, i would advise you to have an attorney present. Do not skip anything and even if you don't have a dime to your name being homeless might be better than being with .......

Message to Lobo... where the **** is my travel reimbursement money? What do you have to say for the hardship you cause for many people? Why did I have to drive a 73 year old man home? What would have happened if he was left stranded? Why didnt you reiminbuse him in the office? What the heck are you? In my opinion things like you shouldn't exist and your a complete ****ing joke. I hope you go away and disappear.

I still want my travel reimbursements.

Hey Lobos, I would really like to see a copy of that contract. That would go a long way toward clearing up all of this confusion.

Just to touch on this briefly...

Regarding the man the poster took home, he had to leave due to ineligibility for a CDL through the DMV at the time. We wished him the best and he worked out a deal with the poster to get a ride home. Lobos was not involved with that at all.

Regarding reimbursing travel, we offer to purchase a bus ticket for travelers or we will reimburse up to the price of a bus ticket if the traveler wishes to fly or drive themselves out. The reimbursement is typically placed on their paycard which is issued shortly after the paperwork is completed (which includes the contract). That being said, it is difficult to reimburse someone via any method when they leave before you can do so. As of this posting, Lobos has no information on how to reimburse the poster other than perhaps mailing out a check to the address he gave on his paperwork. If the poster would like to contact us then perhaps we could do some other method.

As for being the worst experience of his life, I am a little confused. If driving over the interstate from New Hampshire to Utah, reading a contract and then going back on the road is the worst experience of his life, I think driving a semi over the road may not be the best life choice for this gentleman.

We recruit from all over the country and often our ad campaigns will run in certain regions for one week, then onto a different region the next week. We advertise through Craigslist, Indeed, Google, and other avenues so we reach a pretty wide demographic of people. We are one of the few places that will work with drivers who have little to no experience and with drivers who have a past criminal record so we also reach that group of people. Whether someone is from the east coast, the west coast, or anywhere in between or if they have thousands in the bank or pennies, it doesn't really impact us. We bring people out here to conduct business with us and if they decide to not follow through on that, then we wish them the best of luck and our business is concluded. We are very clear before we purchase a bus ticket or tell someone to drive out that we will only cover travel to the office and if they choose not to move forward then they will be responsible for their travel home. That's not a hidden "gotcha" clause or anything like that. We are happy to pay for someone to travel out and work with us but if they decide not to work with us then our business is done and we're not obligated to spend money on that person for anything. We are happy to give them a ride to the bus station or public transit system which will take them directly to the airport, but we're not going to pay for someone who is not doing business with us.

Mr. Lobos, this web site (TruckingTruth.com) usually has no patience with people who's first post is a vivid description of their school training which they claim to be "the worst experience of their life". However those that have visited your location have been consistent in the problems they have experienced. 5 months ago I personally did research for your 3 strategic partners, and posted the findings on this thread (towards the bottom of the page).

So your "Partners" either do not exist or live in a PO Box at a UPS Store. Your ad copy makes a lot of promises but I don't see anything at all that backs up what you claim. What is the address for your school, and your practice driving range? I don't live in Utah but I'd like to look it up on google maps. Also, could you provide either me or Brett a copy of your student's contract? Despite all your protestations, I still see a lot of smoke.

Dear Lobos Interstate services,

I want to make it clear that I would like to be reimbursed in the amount of $300. I was told over the phone with you that you would reimburse me for driving out to Salt Lake City from New Hampshire. I spoke with numerous people at your office and even gave my gas receipts to you. I left on Wednesday February 24th 2016 and slept in my car for 2 days in Cleveland Ohio and Des Moines Iowa. On Friday February 26th I spent $60 at the Days Inn in North Platte Nebraska. On Saturday and Sunday I spent 2 nights in Laramie Wyoming which amounted to $120. If I was aware of the 51 page contract I would not have came out to Salt Lake City. If it wasn't for my tax return that got direct deposited into my bank account on Tuesday March 2nd 2016 there would be no way for me to get home financially and I would have to rely on my parents. The 51 page contract which was barely gone over in the approximately hour-and-a-half long orientation scared me ****less. I want to make you fully aware that I have the contract downloaded. I've had numerous requests to show this contract which I find scary and could possibly ruin your career without not knowing what you're signing or getting yourself into. If I did not get my tax return I might not have had an option but to sign my life away. To me it seems as if this is a tactic you use. I would highly recommend that in the future you show people the contract. I can almost guarantee that that would mean a lot fewer students or uneducated rookie drivers.

Whatever tactic is used for your business to make money seems very complicated and is a borderline scam in my opinion. You have lobos interstate services, Arrowhead dispatch, direct lease, and United coop from what it seems in that one small building in Lindon Utah. It seems like they're all connected and are in the contract. To fully understand this contract in my opinion would take months. My experience there was a nightmare. I did not meet one driver who seemed bright or intelligent in my opinion all of them seemed unprofessional. Being there for 2 days gave a lot of bad impressions. Some people told me to not go with your company. There was a lot of arguing between drivers. I heard a lot of swearing and childish talks. All the drivers I met excluding maybe one or two had only one four three weeks experience.

There is potential to run a business providing owner owner operator services to those that know what they're doing and have knowledgeable experience of business, dispatch and the many things to be a owner operator. An hour and a half meeting / orientation with barely any education / 51 page contract with hefty consequences that could possibly ruin your career or make you go bankrupt is not enough. You should seek individuals who were owner operators and know what they're doing. You should also have a lawyer or Legal Assistant available all day for those reading the contract. I don't understand how this business model works at the moment but it's in your best interest to reimburse me for all my travel cost which amounted to $300 at the bare minimum. This goes beyond the financial amount with the pain and suffering. I believe, 99% certain that one of your head people told me in person that when an individual breaks a contract information is sent to the courts and there was a $10,000 early termination fee. Not only that by breaking the contract it could ruin your career on your DAC report. If this was on the news I can almost guarantee you that people would avoid your company. I wanted to add that I did not see a sign on the building for Lobos interstate services so while I was there it seems like you're trying to hide your your business. The address is 1922 west something whatever in Lindon Utah. There are signs on it on the building that say ABC's weekly and studies weekly which makes it confusing if you're driving by because there is no sign for Lobos interstate services and I can 90% guarantee that being there for 2 days.

I really don't want to go as far as posting the contract or even sharing it because I'm absolutely disgusted. Please reimburse me for all my travel cost and I really want to move on with my life and forget about this horrible experience. You said over the phone today that you would get back to me over getting my check back. It's time to man up Lobos and do the right thing and stick with your word. If you say you're going to reimburse me then do it. Karma's a b****. I really hope my experience doesn't happen to other people in the future because all I see happening is this place being shut down with a big lawsuit and possible criminal charges. I'm ****ed off at the moment and I'm sure many people are too. In my opinion the owner of this place is striving for the American dream by making a nightmare out of individuals lives and enslaving them to a 51 page contract which could easily ruin their career and lives by breaking the contract.

I am on this site to make rookie drivers or prospective drivers aware of my experience. In no way or form am I trying the harm this company or give false information. I am speaking from my own experience and everything I say is opinion and not fact.

I got lost on my way to the address where Lobos is. I'm unsure if they share the same building as ABC or ABCs weekly? I believe to the best of my knowledge that there is also a sign for Studies Weekly on there building. If you were to drive by this place you would have no clue in my opinion of lobos interstate services because to the best of my knowledge I did not see a sign for it while I was there for two days. I've never seen anything like this in my whole entire life. From what it seems lobos interstate SERVICES likes to hide their location and address.

Lobos interstate services, could you explain Arrowhead dispatch, direct lease, and United coop to prospective drivers? It seems to me as if you're trying to hide all this and are not describing it in the website.

If I was the owner of this company I would have a week-long course 8 hours a day 5 days a week to thoroughly go over every aspect of your business operation. An individual who is seeking employment would have to be fully knowledgeable of the 51 page contract before signing it. An hour to two hour orientation is not enough in my opinion it is a pathetic joke. I said in the last post that your business might not be able to operate if people were fully aware of your contract before coming to Lindon Utah. If I was to strive for the American dream and run an enterprise or business like my father who owned a grocery store and storage facility I would treat individuals with respect, honesty, and create a workplace environment where individuals can thrive and succeed and not be in fear. In no way or form would I ever threaten individuals with a contract that could make them bankrupt, ruin there career, or possibly destroy their lives. If an individual choose not to work at my establishment I would not hold them accountable. If the individual was a good worker I would look into the mistakes that my business has and correct them.

Lobos, this is the second time I asked on this form for you to reimburse me.

People on this forum and in my emails have been asking for the contract. I don't know if it's even legal to share it. I'm worried if I do I'll get sued by Lobos. I have the same sense of fear about sharing it just like when I was there trying to understand what the heck I was going to get myself into. Lobos in my opinion is one big headache where the only cure is to avoid it altogether unless there is massive changes in the company and how it operates but I can almost guarantee you that if there were changes there would be no way for them to make money because I think it's a scam. Scams last for a few years and possibly a decade. Eventually they get shut down and then they pop up again in a different form. Don't become victim to them and if you are protest, educate, complain. Whatever you are Lobos good luck in your future and take my experience and make the most of it. Maybe your future will be better or maybe who knows?
