I believe this is the same company that is now part of Prime in their advanced fleet program. You will pull a lot of Prime trailers and do business with many Prime customers. From the way I understand it, you will basically run the same loads and have access to the same workload as a Prime driver, so mileage opportunity is there.
Cool. Thanks

Looking at Henderson Trucking as an option... Anyone got any thoughts on Henderson?
I am heading to St. Louis and after training will give more information on the company. So far they have shown a level of professionalism that many of the more known companies lack in. The starting pay could be better but the real question is the time frame to reach full earnings. This company is in the refer business which is already a limited field. Thanks for now & Semper Fi! Update on Henderson!!!!!!!!
I am working for Schneider this should say everything! If you want to work for prime then go straight to them why fool with a middleman company. I like what Schneider has 80 years of strong growth, a real chance to build your own business and are one of the only companies that requires drivers to take simulator training to better there skills. I love seeing people who have 10, 20, and 30 years with this company. 1 million, 2 million, & 3 million miles earns and a really strong freight pool. Better lease and owner program and some really nice yards around the country. For the ones who will claim I don't have enough time in to know what I am talking about. Let me say this, I have a transportation company I have owned for more than 10 years, Marine Corps 2nd Marine logistic, this year is the first w2 I have had since I was in the Corps that was 20 years ago. I know business and have 4 companies that I started and own. So I do my homework! Business is business and any company whom takes pride in caring for their work force and can remain non union when based in the heart of union country states more than you may think. The ever ending truth in this business is to own your own rig and then you make the desired income you want. In 5 months I will enter into lease program and update on the growth. Be safe and Semper Fi! Bubba
Wow Timothy. You were really all over the map on that one! I couldn't follow some of that.....

I'm not sure what you mean by a "middleman company" or what Prime has to do with this.

I became lightheaded trying to figure out what you're saying here. You "have a transportation company" and it's the Marines but it was 20 years ago? And you're currently a company driver who also owns and operates four businesses???

Now we're on to a new topic. It seems we're now talking about starting a company with a large non-union workforce in union territory? Ok we can do that I guess.
The ever ending truth in this business is to own your own rig and then you make the desired income you want.
You mean I can just name my desired income? Well I want to make $300,000 this year, that's my desired number. So I should buy or lease a truck then is what you're saying?
I need a lot of help understanding this better.
I understood it perfectly clear, after I re-read it a few times.
Here's a guy who wasn't happy with his first choice of companies (even though he is a brilliant business person who did all his research) so he thinks he can denigrate them by calling them a middle man company. Now that he is with Schneider, and the honey moon isn't over yet, he is convinced he is going to make some killer money by getting into their lease program.
We will more than likely hear from this brilliant business person again when he gets tired of Schneider and moves on to the next greatest thing his research will lead him to. Or, I don't know, maybe by then he will have started a fifth business and he won't be needing any of the paltry pay that truck drivers are stuck with.
