It's all practice, practice and more practice but there are tips of advice on here about backing and youtube videos out the wazoo. Congrats on Knight btw. I should be starting there myself at the end of march and really looking forward to it.

Long story, long time ago there was this trucker who had children, the oldest was a girl, he wanted a boy so this trucker taught his daughter almost everything he knew. He took her in the truck when he drove for a company, taught her to wrench and handed her the keys to his straight truck. He pointed out the clutch, brake and go pedal, put the first shifting lever in low, go through your gears then move both to the next level. I love semis, nothing more beautiful, sorry side tracked.
Jumping ahead, I now raised my children and I am single. I just quit my job to go to knight to learn to drive. My Dad didn't have a tractor and trailer, I never backed up. I am very nervous, any words of wisdom on backing them up? I may be over thinking this, but is there a lot of customers where it is difficult to get into? I only use mirrors when backing a car plus for me. But only plus. Things are different from when I was in a truck.
Has anyone gone through Knight training? I think it is called something else. I heard Squire there. I was down there but sent home to do a sleep study. Thankfully my job took me back for a few weeks until I got the test results back so I have a paycheck.
Words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
