A month after Colorado legalized marijuana, I hauled a full load of Frito Lay chips from Casa Grande, AR to Denver. Was told to put two load locks at the end of the load to keep from shifting. When I opened the doors, there was no room for the load locks as the trailer was completely full. Total load weight was less than 8,000 lbs. I also had to sign an agreement to take a low altitude route assigned by Frito Lay to keep the bags from popping.
Another interesting load: Pig Launchers/Retrievers for the gas company.
Hmmm, those look like Torpedo tubes from a submarine.
Nope, not torpedo tubes. Not sure what they are used for, but definitely not torpedo tubes. Since I was a Torpedoman's Mate (TM) in the Navy (a rating that no longer exists in the Navy), I can assure you they sure don't look like any I saw on the boats (submarines for you land lubber folks).

Hey nice to see someone that was a real Torpedoman on here. I am about to get out after about 9 years of being a MMW(Machinist's Mate Weapons). Doesn't make any sense to anyone still so we still get called TM's.
Ever wonder how "Hard Lemonade" and "Hard Cider" is made?
It is put in 119 gallon totes as 190 proof lemon or apple flavored alcohol. I think I read somewhere that "Technically" you need a tanker endorsement if you are hauling 1,000 gallons or more of "totes" that are each 119 gallons or greater.

I was a nuke ET on my boat. You may now commence with the razzing.

these are used to confirm a consistent inner diameter in a pipeline. Shoots a tool called a rabbit through the casing.\
41000lbs of placemats, or 6000lbs of styrofoam....
Haven't started trucking yet but so far werid thing is my wife lol ..... I did bring a christmas tree from Middle Alabama to Middle GA strapped to the roof of my neon once and a hot water heater from Atlanta
He did state that those were PIG launchers that are used to clean and inspect oil pipelines.

If I let the value of the loads sink in I would be all nerves trying to drive. Luckily, that is not my nature. Right now I have a taxi in my trailer that, if damaged, would make some people lose jobs. It is a prop and doesn't look to be worth more than a couple hundred bucks, but, it's value is determined by the fact that the artist must be able to "drive" it onto the stage.
This is a weird business.
