I understand the mileage and what not, but if I'm forced to team for 6ish months I want to understand how the pay will work. During my initial 6 months is only .18¢ a mile, BUT I'll be getting paid whether its me or my partner driving correct?

Here's how it works.

Your truck will make .36cpm so .18cpm split.

Let's say you will drive 5,000 miles in a week. At .36cpm that will be a revenue of 1,800$.

Divide that in half. Each of you will take $900. You make .18c

CPM:

Cents Per Mile

Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.

Is it 18 cpm if so then divide that by 2 and that's what you get so that's 9 cpm for every minute you Drive

Sorry accidentally pushed submit early.

You make .18cpm for every mile the truck travels. You will make that even when your partner is driving and you're sleeping.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

The truck makes18 cpm then divide that by half that's how team trucks are paid... Like I'm going to crst and they pay 22 cpm I will make 11 cpm which ain't nothing but it's a way for me to get back in trucking

I thought 22 cpm was bad.... But I think I'm going to start at 33 cpm since I have 2 months experience well that's what my recruiter said and does a email count as getting it in writing....
