It's funny that this thread has reappeared... Sure, BBQ sauce guy entered the trucking industry with faulty expectations. He apparently had just left a job/industry where things were different. He quit a job by which he was supporting his gf and two kids, then got himself sent home. He was venting. (Silly and misguided, for sure, but his life was kind of in shambles at that moment, it would seem.) Give the guy a break... He wasn't a regular participant here.... Probably never heard anyone say the things you guys say here. Educate him... don't make an example of him.
Its people like that that give this industry a bad name...if you can't act like a adult in any situation then why give him a break... If I mess up I own up to it and not blame anyone else...that's all any of us is saying
Had this guy came in here and said I went through darts program and didn't stack up in my favor and explained what happened then asked what should he do different.. He would of got a different response

This is true. Occasionally a well written complaint gets posted, even in a first post. The TT members will offer suggestions to handle the situation, explain the rules/laws, or give support to get through the problem.
SVT had no good word for the training program - everyone is snotty towards him, the fabled BBQ sauce is lousy. This to me and others indicates SVT is really wanting to paint the company in a bad light, just like all the other trash-talking bad entries that do not survive here. These are 99% written by people who could not handle the program and left in a bad way. So we have a field day picking it apart!
Errol is 100% right but I'd like to add that these programs are setup to train a professional driver... A professional doesn't boo hoo about a free trip to training and sure as h*ll don't b*tch about nasty BBQ sause that professional will analyze the problem and quickly come up with a solution to the problem like adding brown sugar or grape jelly (depending on what part of the country your from ) me I don't like grape jelly lol....
If this dude was acting like a professional I'm sure that if he would of asked them to explain what they wanted and how they wanted it done they would of and maybe gave him another shot but as you can tell from his post he had a chip on his shoulder from jump....
People gotta understand that these companies can't and won't hold your hand cuz out in that truck by yourself you are responsible for everything that happens....
