You know, I think I've fooled myself into thinking that it's a great place! Seriously though, it's not that bad. It's called the Garden State for a reason. NJ is pretty diverse. There are some beautiful parts of the state.

You mean this is not true????

Welcome-to-New-Jersey.jpg

Early morning heading to Billings one time East Bound and Down came on the radio... On the way back I got to hear Roll On by Alabama and 18 Wheels and a Dozen Roses.

Like I said, I think I fooled myself ... smile.gif

Oh I just thought of another one for me.....always country music going across Wyoming, especially Garth Brooks. The wide open spaces always made me think about what life must have been like for settlers in wagon trains moving West and for the real cowboys (even today) tending to herds.

This is a little obscure, but one of my favorite albums to listen to while driving in Texas is "Texas Funeral" by Jon Wayne, '80s cowpunk that really fits the place.

We're building our new wiki. I think "trucker music" might have to be one of the topics. Start out with some Red Sovine, work our way through the Eagles and Seger, then touch on some metal and grunge to let the newbies know how the pros do it.
