I applied to US Truck last week and went through all the steps. I have a good driving record and super clean criminal record. And, today they carrier didn't except me, they said for me try again in 3 months. I don't get it?

I wouldn't read into it.. It's the slow season for hiring which just so happens to pick up again in 3 months. That's probably all it was.

Thanks, I'm so new to this that I didn't even know there was a slow time of year. Knowing that makes me feel a lot better. I really appreciate all of your input. Thanks, again!!

Watkins Shepard is hiring, generally if you are within 100 miles of a terminal.

I really like working for them.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
