Chris, Congratulations on making the move. If Schneider's program is much like Swift's, you are packing for 2-3 months. You pack it, you carry it, you stow it on your trainer's truck.

I used two suitcases. Duffel bags are easy to transport, but getting the heavy gloves at the bottom can be a job.

Be sure to enjoy your journey, no matter what happens.

Hack - using the search bar at the top of any webpage on this site, type in "what to take to school." You'll get a variety of threads from sharing what to pack for school to what to pack for a trainer's truck.

On another note, I didn't know Schneider used Carlisle as an orientation for multiple states. You'll be in my neck of the woods. Welcome to Carlisle, PA. You'll see a ton of trucking companies within just a mile or two of the Schneider terminal. Carlisle is something of a trucking mecca.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I'm with SNI & you should be okay. The Carlisle OC should have free laundry facilities if you need it. Did mine in Atlanta in January. good luck, welcome aboard & if you bring & keep your positive attitude it'll be great.
