Can you EMAIL this stuff if you have your own scanner?
I have a portable scanner for my MacBook that goes with me everywhere (ScanSnap S300M), just a little bigger than a shaving bag.
Yes I AM A GEEK...
I hear a lot of trucking companies are moving to SmartPhone based TransFlo apps.

The Trans Flo phone app works great, just take a pic of your paperwork and hit send. I love it. Don't even have to go to the truck stop.

MacBook? Geek? Not so much.
All seriousness aside, I'd like to get a porta-scanner & a printer myself.

So the Trans Flo app works just like Drive Axle. We use Drive Axle and I love it.
OK, so I got the TransFlo mobile app. To register, I need the "Recipient ID" for Swift.
Swift's TransFlo sheets show SWFT, and the barcode scans out to XXSWFT. Neither of these are valid for the app. Anyone have the Swift code?
(Or maybe the mobile version is a different thing from the truck stop scanners & Swift don't play that game.)

Same here. Love the convenience. And eliminates the PITA of trying to feed little receipts through the scanners. Re: the Swift code, call Transflo directly or ask your dispatcher.
With the TransFlo app, do you get some sort of confirmation code equivalent to the slip you get at the truck stops?
You get a confirmation number and a confirmation email is sent to the email address you used to set up the TransFlo app.
Make sure you keep your confirmation number. A couple times I got accused of not sending the paperwork in and as soon as I gave them my confirmation code the issue went away. The only problem I have found is sometimes if a shipper used ncr paper the yellow and pink copies don't come out well on the mobile app.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

To handle single receipts that need to be scanned through TransFlo, I came up with this:
There's a kind of plastic sheet protector that has the holes right on the protector part, without the tab sticking out on the side. Basically they're the same length and width as a sheet of paper.
I stuck a sheet of white paper into a few. Make the sealed end the TOP, slide a receipt up from the bottom, and add this to your TF stack.
Of the four different TF people I gave this to, none had seen this before, and were nervous about feeding plastic sheets into the scanner. No problem, it goes right through!
Re-use the protectors, skip the Scotch tape.
A box of 25 goes for $6 at an office supply. Go in with friends or sell the extras at your next truck stop!
