I trained in a 2014 t680. Loved the interior layout of that truck, a whole lot more than I do my Cascadia. Those things are aesthetically pleasing all around, sharp looking exterior.
This is how the interior was laid out in the one I was in:
It'll be a team truck for approximately 6 months. So. ...anyone know anything about these trucks? Decent room? Supposedly they come equipped to us with a fridge and apu , but are they "nice"?
No, but how is Celadon working out ? Read all your school post. Did you train in Laredo?
On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.
Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

It's my mentor's truck, and I spent my 200 hrs in it. Huge space, plenty of storage, excellent bunk(don't know about original mattress, Switched to sleep number on lower bunk). Seat cushion kind of hard, and deep, as I'm only 5'10", that cushion make my thighs sour & fatigue in couple hrs.

Loved my T680 I had at Prime. Plenty of room, bottom bunk very comfy, lots of storage space.

KW T680 is probably second to the Volvo 780 in storage space and ergonomics.

No I'm training in Indy. It's been overall positive. It is what your make it though. There is some slightly dysfunctional things going on, but coming out of winter I REALLY get the idea several people were here for lodgings and meals. Now they are (hopefully) weeding thouse people out. My previous experience has been great asset though.
