Gary, I'm not a team driver, and our resident team driving expert has been absent lately. I don't know where Guyjax has been lately, but we've sure missed his input.
Here's what I do know that a successful team operation needs to be able to do to make it work properly. You've got to keep that truck moving at all times. One person is sleeping while the other is driving. You should be moving that truck somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,500 miles per week. It's no vacation, and it can be stressful on a relationship.
It is a great way for a couple to earn a decent living while working together, but having opposing sleeping schedules doesn't do much for promoting the relationship. After you get yourself established as hard working team there's no reason why that you can't bring in close to a hundred thousand dollars per year as a couple.

My wife and I are about to jump into team driving. I'm looking for anyone's experiences and advice. I'm most curious about team time management.
Drive safe.
