Since you've only used 3 semesters, I think you should have plenty of GI Bill money remaining for CDL school. Give the VA a call. Also, if you have a school in mind, contact the school's VA Rep and they should be able to get you set up. I think flatbed would be awesome too.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Heck yeah! I mean have a 20 minute workout together. lol flatbed for one is awesome, I enjoyed learning a bit about it from my uncle while riding with him.
