Hi Pamela. My first time on here. I'm a recruiter for a small Company in northern California. Just my opinion, yet I would say nothing is more important than family. We aren't getting any younger. Since he will still have his retirement there, he can roll it over or begin a new. Good luck with whatever you choose! mercy
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I'm with Mercy, here. Start fresh with family. His company already let him down, and another 15 years with them will only ruin his inner peace even more. Go find your inner peace, the both of ya.

Hey! Just wondering if there are other women out there like me that have a husband that has worked very successfully for 30 years as a truck driver only to see plans for retirement disrupted. We were transferred by the company from California to Texas almost 10 years ago. Our plan was to retire and move to Utah after living in Texas for 10 years. My husband was suppose to retire after working 25 years, but at 24 and a half years, his company quit paying into his retirement, plus they reduced wages by 15%, plus took away vacation time. But he is still vested in the retirement program he is in. He will not beable to retire for 15 more years. But, we are finding it urgent to be in Utah to help with family matters there. So, do we find another job in Utah and hope it all works out, or stick in out here in Texas? Either way is going to be tough.... but I'd rather do tough with family in Utah.
