Right when I get the chance. I prefer when I shut down though.

Actually I'll do both. I'm weird like that and always have been but after sitting all day in my clothes, i want to clean up and in the morning I always shave so another shower it is.

My first choice is when I shut down. My second choice is during my 30 minute break.

My first choice was when I shut down for the day, second choice was to take a break during the day for a shower and a meal. Of course I was on paper logs so my 14 hour clock really wasn't a concern.

I prefer to shower straight after my driving shift........that way If I do get up too late I can just drive and not risk missing out on my shower.

This is one thing I will miss about switching companies.. highly doubt ill find a company that still runs paper logs.

Hey, shower once a week whether you need one or not - that's my motto ... works good for getting the seat you want at the restaurant counter, too!

I hate truck stops so I try to spring for a hotel 2 nights a week. This covers showers 4 out of 7 days as you can shower both the day you check in and the day you check out. This works well in theory except that I'm flatbed and some times after loading or unloading a shower is necessary even if it isn't a hotel day.

I know this is off topic, but my company still runs paper, and says they won't be forced to switch for at least another couple of years when it becomes an industry requirement. I guess it all depends on a company's history with regard to falsified logs. I've heard that part of the reason many companies have gone to e-logs now is because their drivers have been caught falsifying too many times.
