I swear I separated those paragraphs.
Oh, I thought you have encountered with the other bear tho. LoL
You had an encounter with a cub..... good thing mom-ma did not see you....

Good story. I was sweating for you.
(It takes two line feeds/"Enter"s to separate paragraphs.)
Those can be tense moments for sure. I have noticed that the local yokels are easier to deal with than the Bears (State Troopers).
LOL I was expecting to see a bear in the road or grille of a truck
You said all the right things. Level head.
I have a lot of respect for law enforcement officers. I always treat them with respect. Even though sometimes they aren't very polite.

Sad that respect can't always be a two-way street

I have a delivery to main street Princeton KY exactly at 9am. Ease into town (15 mph) trying to watch the traffic, pedestrians, parked cars, and find the business. Locate the business and get lucky as there's enough room to actually park in front (usually have to go through the whole hazards, block street, and have people rocketing around the truck). Get parked and check my mirrors to be sure I am out of the road and bingo John Q Lawman (city) is blocking the street with lights a blazing. Me "good morning officer". John "license". Me "yes sir". John "you ever deliver here before?". Me "no sir". John "well I guess you didn't see that red light I was sitting at that you ran through"? Me "yes sir I saw it and it was green the last I looked but I was watching out for the people and traffic and going that slow it might have changed on me". John "sit tight". Right about now is when I start to realize I'm a new driver who just ran a red light. (HUGE NONO) So l am trying to relax because I don't want to have to pay to clean my seat on top of this too. John "l know this is how you make a living and thank you for going slow through town. You know you can really hurt someone with one of those. Pay better attention. Have a good day". Me "ye ye yes sir I will. Thank you sir"
Moral of story...... Hell I don't know I was just lucky.
Go slow....
