I can say this because of an experience when I was a kid. We were coming back from Mt Rainier and were passed by a cop with the lights on. 15 miles down the road he was in the local coffee shop/cafe. Musta made a fresh batch!

And no the place was not being robbed or anything. He having breakfast.

I have a lot of respect for law enforcement officers. I always treat them with respect. Even though sometimes they aren't very polite.

Sad that respect can't always be a two-way street

Most street lamps have cameras now days. It doesn't take much to prove you crossed the white line before it was red (legal).

But, y'know: Easier to just eye-ball the light before you pass through. :)
