Well guys and gals my 40000 mile journey in training is finally complete. All I can say is what a journey it has been so far. Yes it feels real good to upgrade to the A seat. It seems as if it was only yesterday I was grinding every gear imaginable. My backing was as bad as a one armed paper hangers work. For those who are just starting all I can say is stick with it, some days are better then others. It's only fitting I end my training in Daniel Bs neck of the woods ( sacramento). You have been a big inspiration one day I'd like to buy you a hot tea. Old school thanks again for your wisdom sometimes I may not agree with you but I will always respect the sacrifice you make to educate new drivers. Brett, what can I say without you their is no Truckingtruth thank you. And the rest of the gang that puts time in to help, all I can say is I hope I can add my knowledge as well as many of you have. I will add if anyone wants to ask questions to my training at Prime please feel free to private me or ask on this sight, I will be happy to help. I certainly owe this sight my time to help other new drivers till next time I'm out!

Okay, now you've got my curiosity up! shocked.png What could I have possibly said that was so disagreeable to you? You don't need to tell me now, just get out there on the road and after about two years maybe you will call me like Daniel B. did last week and say "You know old School, I used to disagree with you on such and such, but now I realize that you were dead on."

I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I will call it like I see it, until something helps me to see it differently.

Again, congratulations! Get out there and show your dispatcher how the big boy's roll!

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Thanks old school, you are certainly more often right, the best part is that it's 100% from the heart. I know in the future I will probably be like Daniel and say dang old school was right. Sometimes you just have to walk a mile in someone's shoes. You have to admit if we all thought the same way what type of forum would it be?
