The recruiters that came by my school said they only drop loads in TX and then Mexican partner companies pick them up and drive them over the border. But I'm looking forward to driving in Canada!

Canada is pretty good my cost alot of money and there is a lot of steps before you even cross the boarder you must do first . when you do go to canada make sure you have enough food and other things because they do cost more up there.

Let me guess, Swift and TransMex? LoL
I don't know if any of the major American companies go to Mexico. If they do it's likely a special division with dedicated drivers. Trust me, you don't just send someone wide-eyed and green with $250,000 worth of equipment and freight into Mexico and hope for the best. I've never driven down there and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.

Be careful with the food items... there are many food items including Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs and Meat Products that either have strict rules or are outright prohibited to bring across the border. It will sting quite a bit if you stock up on food hoping to save money in Canada and then have to dump $50+ dollars worth of food in the trash bin to make the crossing.

I'm in my third week of school and I've been listening to different recruiter speeches and I notice that a lot of companies don't go to mexico but some do. What are the pros and cons of going into Mexico?
