I am tempted to say that the alternate route through Canada is the flaw you're talking about. That route is roughly twenty-five miles shorter. I think your trips originates near Burley ID and ends within the USA near Houlton ME. Although there are shorter routes if you hop across the border then back, these are frowned upon. The only legitimate USA-Canada-USA route is between Alaska and the lower 48.
Well, that's my $0.02.
Michael, you guessed right on the pickup, but delivery is not in Houlton, ME tho. But since I have no FAST card with me, the Canada route is out of option. So unfortunately, that is not the flaw either. Nice try! :)
Closer look, the flaw is hiding in here somewhere.
Something, something Cleveland... I don't know what's up that you couldn't take a truck through Cleveland as the route is designated as I-90.
I suspect you want to take the I-490 bypass around the city, but I don't know why.

I don't know either, but according to MCRA, I-90EB from I-490 to I-71 is restricted to CMV , so I need to go I-90E, I-490E, I-71N, I-90E and continue.
In Oakland, CA, I-580 also has quite a section restricted to CMV tho, so no big deal.
A CMV is a vehicle that is used as part of a business, is involved in interstate commerce, and may fit any of these descriptions:
