Swift gives you three days (Mon, Tue, Wed) you can walk out "free", I believe even the hotel room. Then there's a stepping scale: you are charged more as time passes.
On that schedule, Wednesday is your first day on the backing range.
Going to the start of a class is not the way to make that decision. Yes, Swift is different from Knight is different from Celadon, but all the company courses will be pressuring you to get through and get your CDL. You can't possibly put up with the hassle of getting accepted by different schools, getting scheduled and that bus ride for more than a few schools.
Instead, take a close look at what that company offers, ask your recruiter specific questions, check out Trucking Truth's listings and discussions.

I was to start with a Company to get my CDL training. I showed up In class on Sunday intake day after being awake 36 hrs straight mind you I just couldn't sleep on the bus. Then straight into a physical drug screen and agility test first thing. But chose to walk away on Monday as I didn't feel right with this company's way of doing things. See on Sunday we were already given the contract to sign it was signed as it had to be by the end of the day. According to the typed language in the contract I had 6 days to void out the contract. What I want to know, am I able to check out other companies. CR ENGLAND entered QUIT on the loan/schooling.
