Hey, you just needed a little encouragement to refocus your mind..so, you go out there and show your mentor that Sheffield Steel is tough..
Sounds awesome!
Just keep a great attitude, try to enjoy yourself, and keep learning all you can every day. Your entire first year in the industry will be a steep learning curve so just prepare yourself mentally to continue moving forward one day at a time and things will work out great for ya!

Quick update. I'm now driving my extra 100 hours training with a driver on what they call a dedicated run. It's from the main distribution point of Costco in Chicago to all the Costco stores in and around Kansas and Missouri. Lots of backing practice and shorter runs. I like how Swift work with you on your weakest points. After two weeks of this I reckon I will be backing this rig like a pro. And thank you all again guys for all the positive feed back I've been getting on my other blogs on the forum. I appreciate it more than you will ever know
Dedicated Run:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
