It's my husbands 3rd day at Prime, he did his physical and was told to go to the dmv to change his permit over to a MO permit. CAN WE ASSUME HE ALREADY PASSED HIS DRUG TEST.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

He will know when he gets his student I.D. That is when he has passed all background checks

He was feeling depressed I gave him some of my bupropion (I know that us a no no but I was desperate to help him and he had no healthcare coverage. I read it can cause a false positive for Amphetamines

Buproprion (Wellbutrin) takes weeks to kick in so a one time dose is likely to do nothing. It also lingers in the system for quite a long time so I hope it all works out for you.

It can be very trying when one is attempting to do something when everything is on the line.

I would like to caution you not to offer medication of any kind to your spouse or anyone else.

Drug test aside, there is danger of allergic reaction or the possibility of the drug reacting in a different way if he is on other medications. It's also considered practicing medicine without a license.

Just a gentle reminder please. Hope it all goes well! :)

Not a good precedent ... the week of orientation at prime is CHILD"S PLAY compared to the stress he is about to encounter in training ... your husband should consider any other approach to dealing with stress OTHER than pharmacology ... not the best decision he's ever made (or you, for that matter) ... I recommend prayer if he's a believer and maybe meditation if he's not ... anything but drugs as this could come back to bite him on the butt real easily ... just a suggestion ...

Is taking Bupropion an issue for truck drivers, or is there only concern because it's not his medication specifically?

I'm currently taking Wellbutrin (Bupropion) per a doctor's prescription, considering a career in trucking, will this be a problem?
