Color Blind?????

Can Color blindness be corrected with glasses??? I got home Saturday to find out monday that I can't transfer my cdl cuz I can't see the numbers in the circle of dots.... I have a eye appointment tomorrow to find out how bad... I can tell red green and yellow but the stop lights don't have hidden numbers in them... Lol
I thought you were supposed to be able to identify: Green, yellow, red, and amber shades? The "ABS" light on the rear driver side has text on the light. Yield signs have text (sometimes!). Crosswalk and railroad signs do also sometimes.
CDL:

- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
So I am color blind found out today but I can still drive wooohoooo for me.... I can see red yellow and green.... So happy right now.... 
Scott I got the same problem. It's called red/green deficiency. I think I got like one out of twelve right on those dotted circle things. I was going to say that you should be just fine but looks like you know that. Good luck

Yeah the dmv wouldn't let me transfer my cdl over to Maryland until I got my eyes checked and signed off by a doctor

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
