Hi Sareh, I have seen the documentary and have also been on the diet. I own two different juicers, the pro model Bienville $400 and the nutri bullet $80. The diet works very well but is extremely hard to maintain on the road. First the Bienville leaves no fiber or pulp in the juice. It also is really difficult to clean. You find yourself not using it due to the difficulties using it everyday. The thing about the diet is they do not recommend the fiber left in the drinks. Also leafy green vegetables are really hard to juice in that type of machine. I do however use the bullet and have had great results lost 45 pounds in 3 months time. I now only use it once a day.

This is an excellent documentary. I did it for a while and did lose some weight, like any "diet" its not real easy to stick with but it does work. What the documentary does not show you is it does take some time to juice..the preparation, cleanup etc. is a bit time consuming. Seems like it might be a little difficult to do on the road but I guess it could be done. It also gets a little expensive. I usually stick with the mean green juice which I think is quite tasty, celery, ginger, lemons, kale, sometimes spinach mixed in, green apples, and sometimes cucumber.
I have seen it and agree with a lot of it but the fiber is just as important as the vitamins.
Anyone facing the challenge of losing a lot of weight should watch it and I commend those who commit to a healthier diet!
You might want to check out the Paleolithic diet. Read The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson. When I was a senior in high school I started out on this diet. Drinking plenty of water, eating mostly fresh meats and vegetables, and some fruit and nuts. It felt bad, like a drug addict going through bad withdrawal because I stopped cold turkey. It was hell on my digestive system for about a week (I was used to eating spicy chicharrones dipped in nacho cheese sauce with Mountain Dew), but after that my body began to adjust to the healthier foods, and I began to enjoy eating them. Without doing any exercise (I worked as a law clerk), I lost 50 pounds in about ten months. Then I switched to a physical warehouse job, and lost about 40 more pounds just from working and eating healthy. I never once stepped foot in a gym or "worked out". I also weened back on to dairy, after I experimented and felt no negative effects of eating it, but now I am at the point where if I eat bad food or drink something with high fructose corn syrup I can feel it.
It's all about getting the mind off of the addiction to bad food and getting it addicted to good food. This diet might also work better than the blender thing on the road, as you can cook and freeze meals at home or buy meat and frozen veggies and fruit at Walmart and cook them on a small burner or something.
