It's almost that time of year again. This year's emphasis is to be on load securement. Of course, they'll be doing tons of level 1 inspections to boot. It's scheduled for June 2-4.

And I am sitting here at home on medical leave. I have been lucky these last few years and not had any issues. But as long as you do the things you are supposed to do like your pre-trip inspections, fixing lights etc you should not have anything to worry about.

A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.
