Ok, to be honest, I'm not sure what you did but you're nowhere near the end of the program. Somehow you got up into pages that don't even exist and I hadn't even accounted for that. You're actually halted right now.

Go to this page:

CDL Training Program

It's going to tell you that you're halted because you're 0 for 3 on one of the questions.

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how you got up into pages that don't exist. The highest page in the program is 118. I'm not sure what happened but you should be able to go to that link and resume the program.

Halted?!? 0-3?!? it didn't stop me so how did I get halted? how peculiar.

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Furthermore, when I click the link, it takes me to the status page and it says I have a score of 99%, all subsections are in green, meaning completed, and my completion rate is 113% ! confused.gif

No halt signal, no where to continue when I press the link.

So, now what? lol smile.gif

I have all 100's on the last module, weights and balances, and on the top line, under halted, it says no

I'm sorry! I must have punched in the wrong number and I was looking at someone else's scores.

Indeed you've finished the program with a stellar score! Beautiful work!

Now you can keep using the program where you're at, or we have just the quiz questions right here. Either way it works out just fine.

Awesome job!!!! dancing-dog.gifdancing-banana.gif

dancing.gif Yeaaaahhhhhh !!

Ever figure out how I got into those 'extra' pages? or why it says I'm 113% completed? I feel 'special' that no one else has done this, and you are stumped.rofl-2.gif

Seriously, it is a great program Brett, I feel so much more confident about going into school having taken your course. I am very appreciative that you have taken the time to not only build this, but to make it available to newbies like myself.

Thanks a ton

I'm glad it's helped you so much!

Yeah, I figured out why it's showing more than 100% and all that. I haven't gone in to make any changes to the code yet, but it's easy enough to fix. It actually gave me some new ideas though. Now I know a great way to have people continue going through the questions after completing the materials. In fact, the review questions they see will still be based upon their performance throughout the program so they'll keep seeing an updated list of the questions they need the most help with. That will be super helpful!

Kewl, I 'm glad that my venture into new territory will have a positive impact on the series. I like the idea of focusing on the questions I had trouble with, being reinforced on the review section. Great ideassmile.gif

Here's a question. way back when, a week or so before found this site and signed up, so ... about 6 weeks ago, I had filled out an application for a trucking company. I talked to a recruiter, and was ready to make the jump. I had forgotten about some storm repair we needed done to the house, and had to call my recruiter back and move back my start date. I explained the situation of not wanting my wife to be at home alone with a bunch of construction workers climbing around the house, and my recruiter seemed to be ok with that. They even mentioned to call back when I was ready to go.

Now, 6 weeks later, I have done my research, got all my paperwork in order (except for my CDL permit) and am ready to roll. I have called my recruiter 3-4 times and emailed once in the past 2 weeks to say I am ready to go and have a few more questions, but my recruiter won't return my calls. Turns out, after all the research, this is still the company that seems to fit me best.

My question is, am I gonna get off on the wrong foot if I call up and request a different recruiter? Should I give my new recruiter my 'case' number, or just start off fresh, like it's the first time calling? How long should I wait for my original recruiter to return my calls?

I don't want to be deceptive (i'm sure they talk over coffee or whatever) and get off on the wrong foot, and I'm not sure if my recruiter is mad at me or whatever, but at the same time, if my recruiter isn't going to call me back, and for whatever reason I'm on the 'do not call' list or whatever, I want to move on to another company.

Any thoughts? Guidance?

Thanks

Just call and request a different recruiter. It won't ruffle any feathers or anything. Recruiting at big companies is like a call center. There's usually dozens of recruiters and they're all taking about 200 calls a day. So it's a numbers game. If one won't call you back, get someone on the line - anyone - and get the ball rolling with someone else. No big deal at all.

Well, it turns out the recruiters do talk to one another, or all the stuff is in a central computer. I contacted another recruiter with my info, and she gave it to my original recruiter !

As you mentioned, they are all crazy busy with applications and whatnot.

Anyway, I will be on a bus and headed to Prime September 3rd to begin CDL training.

Friday, I will be heading to my local DMV to take the written. I'm gonna be lightyears ahead of the rest of the class
