Old School
Already been using the the High Road Training. I like it more then the book that the Virginia Dmv gave me. I know I stiil need to refer to my book as some state and local sty may differ somewhat. And the site is the best thing I've found for help. And looking around I found some of my questions have already been covered. So why beat a dead horse. And if I have more question which I'm sure I will I will ask. Thanks for the input

Hey Richard, your issues are old enough that most will over look them besides the last 10 yrs are what's important, where have you lived, who have you worked for, how is your DMV record and can they verify the info...Check with Prime and the other Company-Sponsored Training programs I know they will try to overlook some mistakes as long as they are back in the past..

A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.
The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.
If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.
Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.

Been doing some reading and saw that it's harder a felon to get hired. I have 2 felonies # 1 was a bad check back in the late 80 early 90. # 2 Driving with a suspended lic. 3 time in a certain amount of time back in 2000. Will this stop me from being hired ? I've had a clean lic since I got it back in late 2000. Thanks Richard
