Deonte, Prime told me today that two out of the last three years has to have verifiable work history that you paid taxes with. Meaning an actual job, not under the table. So as long as you've been working somewhere for two years, you should be set :3

Everyone I really appreciate the inspiration you guys are giving me :3 my back up is Knight. My only problem like I said is I really need somewhere that has a pet policy.

I'm gonna go back to the start and look around everywhere. I'm gonna reevaluate what I can do. Thank you guys so much I can't even begin to say how much it means to me. It takes a lot for me to stay on something when I get discouraged, but you guys are helping me work through it all.

Safe miles!!

Finding a company to go to school and work for isn't even the hardest part. Maybe it's because you're young but, I hope you realize this job is going to be hard work every single day you do it. Sitting and waiting, driving in traffic, driving in all weather conditions, over mountains, learning to drive a big rig shift, backing up, pulling forward, squeezing into tight spaces, dealing with other drivers on the road, dealing with regulations, cops, DOT , weigh stations, erratic sleep schedules, fatigue, heat, cold.

If this one minor thing makes you break down so quickly, you might need to evaluate whether this is the job for you or not because some days are going to be worse. I'm sorry you got rejected. Good luck if you do decide this is really for you after an evaluation of it all.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

I want so bad to do this I really do. I've been studying really hard, and I've been super hopeful about this.

Mariah, please stick with what you wrote. "Wanting so bad", then chucking it all with one rejection do not match up. I'm 63 years old, and in life I've been rejected for lots of things, from jobs to school, etc. I survived them all! Yes, I read down this topic, and I'm glad you've been picking yourself up.

"Wanting so bad" is what gets people into the NASA space program, into the Marines, into a Doctorate program in college. Focus on your prize, then make your plans to win your contest.
