I have an overweight ticket in Kansas due on 06/09/15. I'm not sure I can make the complete payment on time. Does anyone know if they allow late payments without penalties. And what will happen if I don't make the payment on time? Please someone respond asap!

Contact them. The worst thing to do is just let things run it's course without saying anything. Call them and explain to them what's going and and most courts will setup a payment plan with you. Just don't ignore it. Call them asap. If you don't pay and don't call them before the due date they very well might issue a warrant for your arrest. Call the first thing Monday.

Guyjax is right. Anytime you owe someone money, staying in touch with them and showing a sincere interest to get it paid off as soon as possible makes all the difference. When they can't contact you and don't hear from you is when things begin to go downhill in a hurry. Getting some money is better than getting no money and getting paid late is better than not getting paid at all. Most of the time you'll find places are willing to work with you in one way or another.

You need to call and get right with the court or an arrest warrant will be issued. I worked for a dry van company where all loads were 52500 to 53600 lbs. A real pain when its 3 in the morning , the trailer is preloaded and your wondering where he set the bulkhead in the front. Your in irwindale and the beer is due in fresno in 5 hours. But you have an ace in the hole, you won't be getting a speeding ticket cause all trucks are governed at 54.6 miles per hour !

Bulkhead:

A strong wall-like structure placed at the front of a flatbed trailer (or on the rear of the tractor) used to protect the driver against shifting cargo during a front-end collision. May also refer to any separator within a dry or liquid trailer (also called a baffle for liquid trailers) used to partition the load.

Dry Van:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.
