This is a copy of one of the hazmat bills I have done. I do hazmat about 5 to 6 times a week. As you can see it has the UN# first. Then the product description. The 1 skid (containment description can be first or last).
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
Then, why does NJ screw this up? I swear, this state is half ass backwards. LOL

Cause it's New Jersey.

I thought these tests were universal when it came to tests...
In the high road training it is:
Check the tires before your trip and at each stop
In NJ it is check the tires at the beginning and every 2 hours or 100 miles.
More importantly on the high road it states:
The description is in the format of "UN1076, Phosgene, 2.3, Poison, Inhalation Hazard, Zone A"
In New Jersey the format is: "Phosgene, 2.3, UN1076, Poison, Inhalation Hazard, Zone A"
has it been changed or what? I mean this is something big isn't it considering if you are picking up a load in say NY and transferring it to NJ and if the police stop you in NJ the format in the Shipping Papers are wrong while the papers in NY were correct? My head hurts LOL
