Hope all is well with you, can you give us an update please.
Does anyone know what happened?
Well idk if the silence answers a lot of questions, but I'm going to be hopeful and this k that he just hasn't had a way of updating this in a while.
I would like to point out 2 things though. Im a rookie company driver for prime and since I've been solo my paycheck after taxes, the deductions for chains, supplies, school loan thing, insurance etc. I have brought home between 1100 and 1300 a week so in reality I have brought home more than he has by his numbers of what he repay ed himself, and he hasn't paid taxes yet.
I am not knocking this thread or anyone as a person just stating my personal experience.
Brian, come back! You left us all on a cliffhanger! Did your co driver work out? Have you upped your weekly mileage?Enquiring minds want to know!

I am just starting my tnt phase, and am curious of the miles you are getting? I was considering leasing when i finish, however, this thread certainly rattled my cage. My figures lead me clearing around 900 a week as company driver
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14ยข per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
I hope all is well with him too. But anything can happen at any time; the Murphy's Law thing. There's a blizzard in progress in New Mexico with drifting snow to 10 feet! That could be very costly if you stuck in it for days. Digging out of a financial hole might not be possible. From what I've read about Prime if you're a newer driver it seems company is the way to go. Take care all!
