I'm sure he will go over it with you, I drove alone while he slept, I was actually really excited about it because it felt nicer to have the truck to myself up front.

Kazi I wish it was me, but no this happen to another person who was asking me about it, I met her through the company we both apply to she went to school there (17 days) to get her cdl I was applying for a job since I already have a cdl. Nothing of that nature was explain to her by the school or the trainer and I told her that I had never heard of such a policy unless is the trainer's policy but like you mention he would have had to let her in on it, which by the way he did not and she ended without a job while he kept his.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

You see one of the other ladies I went to school with, got into a car accident, by which she did not got cited by the officer, but she overheard the trainer telling the officer that she was supposed to have waken him up 30-40 miles from drop off

So she was driving and got in a wreck two weeks into her training and was fired. That's not unusual in itself.

The fact that the trainer said to wake him up 30-40 miles from the drop off was because he was concerned with her being able to find the place and negotiate traffic safely alone. Did she wake him up or try to go in by herself?

Well after doing my own investigation found out that she is not the first to get thrown under the bus by trainers of this company

I would be interested in investigating this myself. What were your sources? Can you verify that everything you were told is 100% true? Were you able to get the other side of the story or just one side?

There's an awful lot of "he said, she said" in your posts Yuri. There are certainly bad trainers out there and there are injustices that happen. But for every injustice that happens there are 1000 half-truths told by trainees looking to find a scapegoat for their mistakes. I've been hearing them for 20+ years now. We all make mistakes but almost nobody ever owns up to them. It's always someone else's fault. And somehow we always get just one side of the story and that's 100% useless when trying to determine what really happened. Otherwise the courts would only invite the plaintiff into each case and wouldn't bother hearing the defendant's side.
