Anybody got info about mcelroy flatbed. I just got my cdl license and am ore hired with them. I'm in oklahoma. Looking forward to getting started. Seems like a great company. Any info from former or current drivers for them would be great.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

How do they treat you there. Do they always get you home on the weekends? How many miles do you average a week? How is their training program? I'm a quick learner. Just wanna know if they do a good job teaching you how to tarp loads
