Something here is very wrong. I'm curious to hear if other drivers you've spoken with are having the same experience.
I don't know what to make of the stories from the other drivers I meet. I waited a total of 13 days for a load delivered on time, was instructed to pick up another load and relay to Cedar Rapids terminal. That was Friday morning... My team driver is waiting for me in a hotel in Okc and I can only hope things improve fast. All but 4 of us that went to school together have quit. I under stand I must ride out my contract, but this is really bad.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Crst has city work and shuttle work where you shuttle empty trailers to different companies... Ive never sat longer then a 68 hours at one time with crst even fresh off the trainers truck... Are you and your co driver managing your hours... That's the key here at crst if you can't manage your hours your going to sit a lot.... I'm on a 34 right now and I just ran last week on recaps... Its been two weeks since I sat and that was home time...
Crst is a expedited company if you don't have the hours to run the tight schedules then you sit... Now im not say this is the case for you but I've heard that the people that can't manage their hours get stuck on relays and shuttle work... To me that sucks cuz your not making much money... Try running 9 hour shifts with your thirty and stopping for bathroom breaks you should be able to change drivers at the ten hour break...
Stone cold you can pm me your number and I can try to help you.... Or I can give you mine

I have only had one solo load and one relay since training ended. Thank you for the advice on hours, I now understand why my trainer instructed me to stop 90 minutes before my daily hours ran out.
I am happy to give you my number, I am now on day 5 of this layover and 1,000 miles in the last 21days is hurting. My savings are nearly gone and I had to have my tag returned from my truck to keep my license. I have every intention of completing my contract, just wish I had saved more money before jumping on this adventure.
Week 7. I am now running with my codriver and on load 3 for the week. Things are looking up.

That is insane. Have you spoken to many other drivers from your company to see what their miles have been like? That was always the first thing I did when miles were slow - find out if they're slow for everyone or just for me.
I've never heard of that in all my years in trucking. Nobody ever, ever waits 8 days for a load. I've almost never heard of anyone waiting 3 days for a load except for produce coming out of California. Sometimes getting out of California can be quite a wait.
