You can never start to early or go through the High Road Training Program to many times. I would suggest you go ahead and start it and then review as much as possible once you have been through it.

There's quite a bit of material in the High Road. If you really want to get the most out of it you can expect it to take probably 80+ hours to work through it all. There are plenty of people who rush through as much as possible in a few days hoping to cram for the tests, and it certainly helps. But to learn all you can and really retain the information you'll want to dedicate a lot more time to it than that.
It's never too early to get started because you can always reset your score and start again. So you can work through it months before going to school, reset your score, and go through it again in the weeks leading up to your schooling to make sure it's all fresh in your mind.

Wow! 80+ hrs definitly puts things in persepctive. Even if you dedicate 10 hrs per week, it will still take 2 months to complete. Maybe I'll look at starting the program around 6 months before school so I can complete the program at least twice. Thanks.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
I started about six weeks before I took my cdl permit yesterday and as I noted in my schooling journey, I only missed 1question on the whole exam and that is with adding the tank endorsement. Sadly, what kept me from getting that one right is that I got c o c K y and misread the damn thing. It's a great way to study, with focusing on the things you will be tested on...gen knowledge, air brakes, and combo's.

Roger that. Thanks for the feedback Anchorman.
On a side note: I'll be giving Crete a call if Maverick or TMC don't workout...I've got to scratch my flat bed itch!

Since I have a good amount of time before attending CDL school, I plan on maximizing the High Road Training program. The question is how early should I start the program before attending school....6 months, 3 months? What are some thought/recommendations? Thanks for the help.
