Hello Everyone, On Sunday I shared I was getting back into the trucking industry. I also started studying for my Tanker endorsement, well guess what! this morning I passed my tanker endorsement and heading off to do doubles and triples by the end of this week. I'll keep everyone posted thanks for the support.
Watch the wording carefully with doubles and triples test. Some words can changes an entire meaning of the question. Besides I think double and triples rock.
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
Thanks for the tip on the doubles and triples endorsement exam, later today I'll be going to test.

Pheonyx, you're not using our High Road Training Program. Are you crazy? You're never gonna learn all the stuff trying to memorized CDL practice tests or just reading the CDL Manual.
We put the entire CDL manual into our program, broke it down into small chunks, and created multiple choice questions for each section. But we went way beyond that. There's a really cool review system built in that will keep recycling the questions you need the most help. That really helps the materials stick in your head. And there's a scoring system that keeps track of your scores throughout the program. There's nothing out there that even comes close!
Here's how our program breaks down:
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A written or electronic record of a driver's duty status which must be maintained at all times. The driver records the amount of time spent driving, on-duty not driving, in the sleeper berth, or off duty. The enforcement of the Hours Of Service Rules (HOS) are based upon the entries put in a driver's logbook.
A vehicle with two separate parts - the power unit (tractor) and the trailer. Tractor-trailers are considered combination vehicles.
