Well, Jake, we have a list right here: Items To Pack
You'll be standing outside a bit so a broad brim hat would be good. Get some leather palm work gloves.
Since you'll be at home for a few more days, do me a favor & try this. Then after you start road training (yeah, that's a month or more down the road.) let me know if it was helpful:
Your trailer is 53' long behind you, longer, probably, than anything else you've driven. Get the broom out of the closet. Hold the top end on your hip with a hand, and walk around the house dragging it behind you. Don't knock anything over. (Hint: make really wide turns.) Watch out getting into the bathroom, you can't turn around so you'll have to back out.
If you can, go out in the back yard. Make a U-turn around the tree or a post, as tight as you can without touching the tree. (I bet that will take a few tries before you get the hang of it.)
Thanks for the tips! I will be updating this once I arrive in Springfield and begin training.

So I'm going to get my permit hopefully by the Monday before I leave for school with prime in Springfield on the 17th. (Anyone else going to be there on that date?) Not exactly sure what all I need to pack for and prepare for. Any advice and pointers would be great! This is a totally new journey for me and am crazy nervous and excited at the same time!
