I'm not sure how many will agree with me but a 10 speed isn't going to cut it. You'll want a minimum 13 speed and possible 18. Especially if you're talking steep hills as in logging. Even permit/specialized, you're going to want the flexibility of a much taller gear range and you'll also want to consider the final drive ratio as well.
Heavy haul you will want to look at at least an 18 speed especially if your looking at stuff over 90k and above. 15 speed at the very lease.

I'm hoping to find a used 10 speed truck for heavy haul, that's able to climb steep hills (I'm 6'4"); any suggestions?
