Funny, I'm reading this sitting here waiting to be unloaded, and not trusting the gps I called the 90 and asked for directions. Was told to get off on exit 141 and two lefts. There was no exit 141...and 20 miles to do a u turn. I guess the map is still the only one who doesn't lie lol.

Yep, map is great thing. Do you ever use any online map to find directions? Today, when innovations are raised day by day we have a variety of other ways to make our life less stressful, particularly in trucking industry. What is your opinion about?

One of the best tools is the satellite imagery in Google Maps. Not only can you use it to verify directions but you can also scope out the place. Often you can figure out which entrance is the truck entrance, where the docks are, whether or not there is enough room to park overnight, and a whole lot more.

Thanks, Brett for your opinion. The method you described above will be useful for truckers, especially for rookies. Do you always use satellite imagery in Google Maps to find directions? It sounds like great thing; there is everything what truck driver needs. Have you heard about Loadingspot? It’s database for shippers/receivers in U.S. You could find there truck drivers’ reviews and experiences they are sharing there. Just check out www.loadingspot. com Brett, let me know your thoughts
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Hi everyone, How is your day going on? What news are in U.S. trucking industry?
This seems more like an advertisement to me than someone actually looking for information.

Many truck drivers are using maps in order to find directions or GPS. I heard that Rand McNally tablet is pretty expensive. But, there always is a way. Don't you try to browse any other applications on your phone? Some of them are free.
