my ex who has been in a truck for 11 yrs didnt know half of what I was talking about. My problem is I am on brain overload. I got all this info stuck in my brain and cant use it.

Ya know what I would love to do? I'd love to go through some of the company-sponsored programs without them knowing who I am or what my experience is. I'd just love to see how things are done at the different companies. We get a lot of great feedback here from students, and I even created a section of the forum called "training diaries" so people can document their experiences for others to learn from.
But there's no substitute for being there as a student. That would be fascinating.

Eeek, I don't think could go through company training again. I would literally beat down some of these instructors. And then I'd get in trouble for telling the new drivers to check the fifth wheel to make sure it has enough grease on it. "Just rub you're hand over it to make sure!" One blackened, greasy hand later...
