Us old road dogs are just afraid we'd wash out of trucking schoolwtf-2.gif Personally, I'd find something to argue about with the trainers...like double clutching confused.gif

Eeek, I don't think could go through company training again. I would literally beat down some of these instructors. And then I'd get in trouble for telling the new drivers to check the fifth wheel to make sure it has enough grease on it. "Just rub you're hand over it to make sure!" One blackened, greasy hand later...

And you believed them about the checking of the fifth wheel by hand!?. Lol was that before or after they asked ya to check for blinker fluid for the turn signals? Or should I ask how long it took for ya to find the spark plugs on the engine? rofl-2.gifrofl-1.gif

Double Clutch:

To engage and then disengage the clutch twice for every gear change.

When double clutching you will push in the clutch, take the gearshift out of gear, release the clutch, press the clutch in again, shift the gearshift into the next gear, then release the clutch.

This is done on standard transmissions which do not have synchronizers in them, like those found in almost all Class A trucks.

I had my fingers and eyes crossed so that means it did count.
