Yes you can edit your elogs but not the driving line... now depends on what he is editing if it makes it legal or not... example say you stop to use the bathroom and forget to log yourself off duty you can go back and edit it to put you off duty... say you were fueling and on duty and he edits it to put you off duty that is illegal but everyone does it...

Legal or not? Trainer editing electronic log while student is driving truck. Can the trainer edit the log to extend the students 14 hour clock by changing the time the student went on duty? Please keep in mind, the "on duty" time was edited with 8 minutes to go until the student would be in violation.
